Welcome to Weaving Tapestries

Weaving Tapestries is a series of one-day hands-on interactive workshops. The primary goal of these workshops is to address inclusion and diversity in community arts practices. These workshops have taken place throughout the province, faciliated by our Community Arts Ontario's past Cultural Development Coordinator, Diane Roberts.

Diane journeyed through Ontario and was able to conduct the workshop in 12 locations from NIagara Falls to Sioux Lookout, Kitchener to Moose Factory.  The participation was outstanding and the experience, truely rewarding.

Community arts practioners throughout the province got the opportunity to engage in interactions with fellow practioners and address such crucial issues as bridging cultural spaces, cultivating creative partnerships, change from the inside out and confronting racism to name a few.

This website is testament to the activities and efforts put forth in this travelling workshop.  We hope that you enjoy browsing through it.
